The argument for infant baptism in the church has been Jesus\u2019 quote that \u201conly those who are born of water and the Spirit will enter the Kingdom of God\u201d, but what is The Kingdom of God? Christians for years have believed that this is the afterlife, that if you aren\u2019t baptised you will end up in hell (which many believe is eternal torture), that doesn\u2019t make any sense since we know Jesus told the thief next to him on the cross \u201ctonight you will be with me in Paradise\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Jesus described The Kingdom of God as <\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cAgain he said, \u201cWhat shall we say the kingdom of God is like, or what parable shall we use to describe it? It is like a mustard seed, which is the smallest of all seeds on earth. Yet when planted, it grows and becomes the largest of all garden plants, with such big branches that the birds can perch in its shade.\u201d

This suggests the Kingdom of God is more of a community of Christians, a community that benefits even those don\u2019t follow our faith as we create charities and pass humanitarian laws that benefit everyone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
